1 · Who we are

Vistara Web builds and manages websites for businesses in India. This policy covers this website and the data we handle while providing our services. It follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

2 · What we collect

• Enquiry details you give us: name, business name, city, phone/WhatsApp number, current website, plan interest and any message you send via our form (which hands off to WhatsApp), or directly on WhatsApp or email.
• Client communications: messages, files and approvals you send us while we run your website.
• Analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location (city level), browser/device type, referrer and time on page — collected via cookies and Google Analytics 4.
• We do not collect payment card details on this site; payments happen through your chosen payment provider.

3 · Cookies & analytics

This site uses two kinds of cookies: strictly necessary ones (basic function) and analytics cookies that help us count visits and improve pages. We use Google Analytics 4 for this. Analytics runs only with your consent where required — you can accept, decline, or block cookies anytime in your browser settings; the site works either way. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.

4 · Why we use your data

• To reply to enquiries and prepare quotes.
• To design, host, update and support your website if you subscribe.
• To bill correctly and keep business records.
• To measure site traffic and improve our own pages.
• To comply with law (tax, accounting, legal claims).

5 · Who we share it with

Only what’s needed, only with: hosting and domain providers (to run your site), Google (analytics), WhatsApp/Meta (messages you send there), payment providers for billing, and authorities where the law requires it. We don’t sell, rent or trade personal data. Ever.

6 · Where data lives

Some providers may process data outside India. Where that happens we rely on their contractual safeguards and keep access limited to what’s necessary to serve you.

7 · How long we keep it

Enquiry data: up to 24 months from last contact. Client records (contracts, invoices, correspondence): for the life of your subscription plus up to 3 years, as tax and consumer-protection law expects. Analytics data: per your consent and Google Analytics’ standard retention. Ask us to delete sooner and we will, except records the law makes us keep.

8 · Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct anything inaccurate;
• Erase it (subject to legal retention duties);
• Withdraw consent for analytics/marketing at any time — without affecting service you’ve already paid for.

Email hello@vistaraweb.com and we’ll act within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9 · Security

Sites we manage are served over HTTPS with SSL. We limit access to client data to team members who need it, use reputable hosting providers, and don’t store sensitive financial data on this site.

10 · Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect children’s data; tell us if a child has contacted us and we’ll delete it.

11 · Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we update the date above and post the new version here. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
